Come rainy season, out come the snakes. Every year this is the scene in all cities. More often that not, without a second thought about handling the situation differently, the snakes are killed. In Bangalore, there are many good human beings who are trained in snake rescue. The snakes are rescued & let into freedom at Turahalli forest or faraway green areas. If you come arcoss a snake that needs rescue, please stop others from killing the snake. Environmentalists will help to rehabilitate the snake to safer zones.

BBMP has also many volunteers helping out in Snake Rescue. Call BBMP and ask for volunteer information for your area.

Shoab is one such volunteer; he helps in rescuing snakes in Bangalore. The snakes are let off into the wilderness around Bangalore. You can also learn and train in the art of catching snakes. Volunteers will very willing train you.
